Dish It Out 04:11
Oh no, you can dish it out But you just can't take it Yeah, you can dish it out but you just can't take it if it gets too much you can always fake it I'm sitting here deciding whether I should break it Best turn around maybe take a leg and shake it Never say what I mean all the time but I mean it It's getting on top a bit but then you already know it Don't ask me what I reckon cos I actually give a shit if that's the ay that you really feel then take another look at it Take your face away from mine Cos it's not needed at this time Say what you said just a little while ago When you told me something that I already know Tell me one more time, I should write it down Cos I ain't gonna be here the next time it comes around You pulled me down and talked some shit I'm gonna have to learn to rise above it Tell me one more time I forgot to write it down Cos I was long gone the next time it came around

Leslie 05:44
You said maybe I said I'll meet you by the pier About half past eight And I'll take you for a beer You said hold on I'm not so sure about that I'll see you at midnight And you can pick me up by my flat And we'll go dancing And you can have your beer And then you'll smoke your cigarettes Unless you've got a better idea And then we'll walk home Hand in hand through the night Along the seafront Into the morning light And then she said yeah...

the van pulled up and in we jumped and now we're on our way a smoke, a beer pass one up here i thought you knew the way we're all plugged in to make a din and lift you all today to see you all and have a ball and dance your blues, away i've had a drink and i've had a think that i might juts have one more and if it's o offer perhaps you could procure refreshments from the bar and when it comes we'll raise our hands and drink to all of you and friends we miss and friends like us and friends like all of you

about

2009 saw the release of Los Albertos’ third album of musical taurine; Dish It Up. Released through their own label, Chief Recordings, it is their biggest, bounciest, ass-shakingly awesome album to date.

All but one track was produced and engineered by Al Scott – best known for also producing the Levellers’ seminal 90s No 1 album Zeitgeist. The new album demonstrates that the band are not afraid to develop their sound further, with tracks such as Phase resonating a rockier edge than previous compositions, and the laid back acoustic sound achieved on M4.
